About this release
Ashlands of the Sleeping Gods opens the trilogy while the land is still at its most hostile. Broad orchestral themes move from open exploration into underground danger, combat and brief pockets of calm, giving an action RPG one musical language from overworld travel to boss encounters.
The sound stays ancient, heavy and scarred rather than simply aggressive, with enough atmosphere to carry both the fights and the world around them.
